i just cannot decide. i just ordered this leather jacket by allsaints (#1) and got it at the sale for 272,00€. now i discovered this amazing leather jacket from the upcoming h&m dragon & tattoo collection for only 149,00€. i really cannot decide which one i should get. for one thing i like them both, so i should go for the cheaper version then, but on the other hand i love the braided part of the allsaints one so much and the h&m one will probably be worn by everyone - so nothing special anymore. what do you think?

nothing is more sexy than some beautiful lingerie on your body and sometimes it is hard to find the perfect one. that's why i am especially excited about the new upcoming online magazine by hunkemöller called "so me". in their magazine "so me" they present some of the collections highlights, such as some wonderful lingerie for xmas, as well as some of the hottest runway-looks and how you can create them yourself. a really nice page in this issue is the "party legs" section, which you can see below - great idea and perfect inspiration. the magazine also includes a part about beauty and homewear. "so me" will be released next monday - so be prepared!

saturday night we went to probably one of the most amazing things i've ever seen - the cirque rouge! cirque rouge is all about burlesque and the 20's. a wonderful and so to this period-fitting location (die rote bar) full of wonderfully-dressed up people -all wearing and living the 20ies in every little detail. people there don't just go to some carneval-store to buy some random outfit - they really live this decade and put a lot of effort in their outfits. and later that night - at midnight - a great burlesque show started and i felt like really being in another world - in another time - i felt like being in "midnight in paris". something i will never forget.

after coming back from amsterdam on wednesday, i only had half a day left in berlin, before we were heading towards vienna. i've never been to vienna before, but always dreamed of going, since it used to be the favorite city of my parents - and they were right: the architecture and the flair of vienna is beautiful. on our first day we went to see the exhibition "No fashion, please!", which shows recent fashion photography. we also visited one of the many gustav klimt exhibitions. there, for the first time i saw the painting "Der Kuss" (the kiss) in real - and it was stunning. one of my absolute favorite artists! another thing you shouldn't miss, when you're having the chance to go to vienna, is the restaurant capatosta, where they make really good pizza and a beautiful location and live jazz playing! and of course the naschmarkt is worth a visit with all its grocery booths around. on saturdays there is always a great flea market- really nice - one of the best i've been to ....

a few weeks ago i finally had the chance to visit hayashi in frankfurt.
kerstins blogs (hayashi paper & la gamine) are on my daily list and every single time i fell in love with her outfits.

she has such a great feeling for mixing and playing with different designers and never sticks to one style, but always discovers new ways to wear it. to me she is the german carrie - really - i adore her love for fashion and how much she enjoys it. so much that she even opened up this wonderful store hayashi. and after all, she is the only person every time she picks a piece, i am dying to have. may i just say, she's the girl i wanna be ;-)

i am a huge fan of architecture and always find it so inspiring to see great buildings. one of my favorite in berlin is our parliament - the reichstag.
a few days ago i had the chance to get access to the more hidden places, that the usual visitor groups don't get to see. i have been there many times before, but it was quite a while ago and so i really enjoyed it. i hope you enjoy the photos as well and understand my excitement for this building.

Finding the right winter coat

the winter is about to come ... grrr ... and the every-year-disaster of finding the right coat begins.
so i need your help!!
these are the ones that i liked the most from this seasons collections, but please don't hesitate, if you know about better ones. so first the red burberry trench, which is classic on the one hand, but because of its color and pattern quite special and outstanding, but of course, not really a cheap one. then i always loved the henrik vibskov parkas, warm and comfy, quite cheap, but of course not really chic. the two last ones are by zara and i really like both of them and you can't go wrong with a zara one, since it isn't really that expensive. so cannot decide ... .

do you read me?! is probably the best-known shop for fashion, art and graphic literature in berlin. yesterday they launched their new shop including a reading room at potsdamerstr.98.
i don't really see why they chose this location and i prefer the other shop because of its comfy atmosphere more, but still, it is always nice to have a variety of good stores.

compared to new york city, berlins fashion night out is really pathetic: some discounts, some djs and some champagne and that's about it. so you don't miss out on anything, if you choose not to go. same this year.
we went to the ginatricot store opening where i bought some really nice jewelry, which i am going to post soon, afterwards to allsaints to get some stuff and then ended this amazing (irony!!!) evening with a vodka cranberry at king size bar - that's the only good thing you can do, when you see how fashion still gets treated in germany.

ivania from the netherlands has an amazing sense of style and aesthetics and there is not a single post on her blog, that i don't find inspirational. It's wonderful to see how great she stays to her style, but still invents new combinations every time. A true aesthete.

"Valentino - The last emperor" at Kulturforum Berlin // Visions & Fashion

Yesterday Rene and me went to a speech about the movie "Valentino - the last emperor"- I still haven't seen it, but since yesterday it is definitely the next film on my list to buy.

Besides showing the work and backstage of Valentino, the film offers a great insight in Valentinos private life - together with his partner Giancarlo Giametti. It seems they are a perfect match - the genius creative and the patient business man. A movie full of humor, that you shouldn't miss especially because of quotes such as "People have to be on their knees in front of me" said by Valentino himself or Karl Lagerfeld whispering to him "Compared to us, the rest are making rags." There are several other events coming up that talk about fashion in movies and photography at the Kulturforum Berlin:

Today I tried everything to keep me from studying, so I decided to go and see the new All Saints collection, that just came in. I right away fell in love with this Fillix Cropped Jumper. Not trying to be narcissistic, but don't you think my haircut really looks Alexa Chung-like ;-) ??

This time I cannot offer you great photos - first of all because, no one was there to take them,

secondly, my Canon run out of battery - anyway I wanted to share my new Chanel nail polish with you.

I got the graphite one and also it reminds some people on children's nail polish,

I absolutely love the metallic look, especially mixed up with gold jewelry.

My necklace is by van rycke, the ring by YSL and the small golden one by Ina Seifert.

The shirt is by COS and although the photos didn't turn out that well,

I really love the shirt because of its simplicity but still has that special something.

Next time better pictures again - I promise!
